Kanishka

Kanishka is a small shop located at Shop No. 1 and 2 in the Vallabh Society. We are right in New Pantnagar, specifically on the 90 Feet Road in Ghatkopar East. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Monika Bar and Restaurant, which is a landmark most people in the neighborhood know really well. The shop isn't anything too special to look at from the outside, just a regular place where we keep our stock and wait for customers. Being on the 90 Feet Road means there is a lot of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work or going out to eat. We see all kinds of people every day and we’ve gotten to know many of the locals who live in the society behind us. It’s a friendly enough spot, though it can get very loud when the traffic builds up. We don't really use any fancy systems here; we just keep track of things in our books and make sure the shelves are full. Most of the work is just being there and helping people find what they need without making a big deal out of it. We’ve been here for a good while and we like being part of the Ghatkopar community. It’s just a simple business run by people who live nearby and want to do a decent day's work.
