Fashion Fantasy

Fashion Fantasy is tucked away in Plot No. 20, Abcd, within the Kandivali Co-Op. Indl. Estate in Charkop. Being in a co-operative estate means we are surrounded by all sorts of other small businesses. Our space is usually filled with the sound of sewing machines and the rustle of fabric. It’s not a high-end fashion studio with models and lights, just a place where we cut, sew, and pack. Most days we are tripping over rolls of cloth or trying to find a clear table to work on. The team here knows each other well, and we usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We don't have a big fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk over a cup of chai in the middle of the workroom. We handle everything from the patterns to the final packing right here in Charkop. Sometimes the deadlines are tight and we have to stay late, but that’s just part of being in this business. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy websites. We just focus on the garments and getting them out the door. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it is our place and we like the way things run here.
