Arun Dall Mills

Arun Dall Mills is located at 21/2, Heavy Industrial Area. As you can probably guess from the address, it’s a pretty rugged part of town. We spend our days processing pulses and getting them ready for market. The building is old and it has that specific smell of grain and dust that stays with you even after you go home. We have big machines that roar all day long, shaking the floor just a little bit. It’s hard work, and the summer heat in the industrial area doesn't make it any easier. Most of our workers have been here for a decade or more. We know each other’s families and we look out for one another. We don't have a website that looks like a movie, and we don't have a PR person. We just have 21/2 and a lot of bags of dall. Some days the trucks are lined up out the gate, and we have to hustle to get everything loaded. Other days it's a bit quieter and we catch up on maintenance. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are a mill, and we do what mills do. It's simple, honest work that puts food on people's tables, including our own. We keep our prices fair and our quality as good as the crop allows. That's the way it's always been here, and we don't see any reason to change it now. We just keep the machines running.
