We are located at 9, Lajpat Nagar, Phase-I, and it’s always a bit of a scramble around here. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with the shoppers and the street food stalls. Our office isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We spend most of our time dealing with fabrics and designs, so there are always swatches and threads lying around on the tables. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families who have lived here forever. We’ve become part of the neighborhood fabric over time. Some mornings are quiet, but by the afternoon, the doorbell is ringing constantly. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors. It’s more of a practical space where we can sit down and work through our ideas without being bothered. The air conditioner makes a weird humming noise when it’s been running too long, and we usually order lunch from the dhaba around the corner. We don't put on any acts here. If you come by, you’ll see us in the middle of a project, probably arguing over a color or a stitch. It’s how we’ve always done things, and it seems to work for us. Being in Phase-I keeps us close to the heart of things, which is exactly where we like to be every day.
