This is the Rail Neer plant, located in the Northern Railway Wireless Area out in Nangloi. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city center, but this is where the actual work happens. The site is pretty large, and you can hear the sound of the machinery running most of the day. We are surrounded by railway land, so there’s a lot of open space and the occasional sound of trains passing nearby. Our office is right inside the plant area. It’s not the most glamorous place, as it’s mostly concrete and functional spaces for the bottling process. We spend a lot of time on the floor making sure everything is moving along as it should. There’s usually a bit of dust in the air and the smell of the machinery. We wear our work gear and don’t really worry about looking professional for visitors. Most of us live nearby or commute in from the surrounding neighborhoods of Nangloi. It’s a hard-working environment where people focus on their specific tasks. We have a small canteen where we grab tea and talk about the day’s output. It’s a practical setup built for one purpose, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. The gates are usually busy with trucks coming in to pick up supplies. It’s just a steady, repetitive rhythm that keeps the plant going from morning until the last shift ends.
