Sheel Industries

Our workshop, Sheel Industries, is over at B-23A in Shivaji Nagar, right within the Shivaji Enclave area. It’s an industrial spot, so don't expect anything too polished. The walls have some marks on them and the floor has seen better days, but that’s what happens when you’re actually making things. We spend most of our hours here, surrounded by the smell of metal and grease. It’s a lot of hard work, and by the end of the day, our clothes are usually a bit messy. Shivaji Nagar is a place where everyone is busy doing something, so we fit right in with the noise and the grit. We’ve got our machines set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. There’s no big reception desk or air-conditioned waiting room here. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-task, maybe wearing earplugs or gloves. We do our own thing and don’t worry about what the big corporate offices are doing. We’ve built this place up bit by bit, adding a tool here or a bench there as we needed them. The traffic outside can get pretty heavy, especially in the evenings, but inside we just focus on the job at hand. It’s a practical life, and we don’t try to make it sound like something it isn't. We just run Sheel Industries the best we can every day. It’s not fancy, but it works for us and our neighbors who drop by for tea sometimes. It's home.
