Subway

Our Subway is located at 26/32 in East Patel Nagar. It’s a narrow little shop, but we make it work for us. Most of the day is spent behind the glass counter, putting things together for whoever walks in. The smell of the bread baking is something you get used to after the first hour of your shift. We have to keep a close eye on the vegetables to make sure everything stays fresh enough. It’s a lot of chopping and prep work in the small kitchen in the back. Sometimes the line gets out the door, especially around the lunch hour. We just keep our heads down and keep moving. East Patel Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always people walking by outside. Some people stop to look at the menu for a long time before they actually come in. We don't have a lot of room for people to stand around and wait. The tiles on the floor are a bit chipped in the corner. We’ve been meaning to fix that, but something else always seems to come up first. It’s just us here, a small team trying to keep things organized. We don't have any big goals or special messages. We just show up, do the shifts, and go home. It’s a practical way to spend the day. If you’re in the neighborhood and need something quick, we are right there on the path. It’s just a sandwich shop like any other.
