Domino'S Pizza

I’ve been at this Domino’s in West Pa Nagar for a while now. We are right on the first floor at 28/130, which is a busy spot if you know the area. I’m 27 years old and honestly, it feels like I’ve spent half that time looking at pizza boxes. The kitchen gets really hot during the summer months in Delhi, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where we make food and try to get it out the door before the traffic gets too bad. Sometimes the delivery guys complain about the stairs since we aren't on the ground level, but it is what it is. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood coming in. It’s mostly just us working hard, making sure the dough is ready and the toppings are fresh. You get used to the smell of oregano after a few hours on shift. It’s a loud place sometimes with the phones ringing and everyone shouting orders, but that is just how a kitchen works. I don’t think much about the corporate side of things, I just focus on what’s happening here in our little corner of New Delhi. Life moves fast in this part of town and we just try to keep up with the pace of the street outside. It’s a job and we do it every single day.
