Mc Donald

Mc Donald is at 7D Bharat Garden, Street No. 1 in New Delhi. This isn't one of those massive places you see in the malls, it's more of a local spot in the Delhi 110059 area. We open up early and start getting the kitchen ready for the day. There is a lot of cleaning to do before the first person walks in. We serve a lot of kids from the neighborhood who come in after school. The street outside is usually full of people walking and cars honking. We have a small team here and we all know each other pretty well. It’s mostly about flipping burgers and making sure the fries are hot. We don't have a lot of space for sitting, so many people just take their food and go. Delhi summers are brutal, so the air conditioning is our best friend during those months. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to wait for the repair guy to show up from across town. It’s a simple job but it keeps us moving. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. Bharat Garden is a busy neighborhood and we are glad to be a part of it. We just do our best to get the orders right and keep the place tidy for everyone who visits.
