Studio Indus

Studio Indus is located at A-22 in Kirti Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s basically the heart of the furniture market. It’s always noisy outside with trucks loading and unloading stuff. There’s a lot of sawdust in the air most days. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. We’ve got tools lying around and sketches pinned to the walls. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. We aren't big on keeping everything perfectly clean because there’s always something being worked on. Sometimes we have tea from the stall at the corner while we talk about what needs to happen next. The neighbors are all doing similar things, so there’s a lot of hammering and shouting going on nearby. It’s a practical place. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a workshop vibe where things actually get made. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but that doesn’t really stop us. We get here early before the traffic gets too bad and usually stay until the sun goes down. Kirti Nagar is a tough place to work sometimes because of the dust and the crowds, but it’s where everything happens. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay out of the way of the big delivery vans. We like the energy of the market even if it is a bit much at the end of a long day.
