Kochharji Impo

Our place is tucked away at 4 Road 16 in Punjabi Bagh East. If you know Delhi, you know this area has a specific feel to it. It’s mostly houses around here, so our business at Kochharji Impo feels like a part of the neighborhood. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. The street is usually lined with parked cars, and sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze for the delivery trucks to get through. We spend our mornings checking on the stock and making sure the inventory is where it should be. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We don’t really go for big corporate lunches; we usually just sit in the back room and eat what we brought from home. The walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled over the months. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks at the delivery guys, which keeps us on our toes. We deal with a lot of different items coming in, and there is always a box that needs taping or a label that needs writing. It’s a simple way of working. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a door that stays open when the weather is nice and a bunch of desks that have seen better days. It works for us because we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come.
