Uphaar The Gift Corner

You can find us at Shop No 14 in the C 4 E Market over in Janakpuri. It’s one of those local markets where everyone seems to know everyone else. Uphaar The Gift Corner is just a small corner of this area, filled with various items people might want to give as presents. We don’t have a big fancy showroom, just our shop space where we keep everything. Sometimes the delivery boxes pile up near the entrance, but we clear them out as fast as we can. Janakpuri is a busy residential area, so we see a lot of families coming through. The market has its own rhythm, busy in the evenings and a bit slower during the hot afternoons. We spend our time dusting the shelves and helping people pick out something that fits their budget. It’s not complicated work, but it keeps us on our feet. We like being part of the C 4 E block. It’s a familiar place for us now. We don't really use big words to describe what we do. We just sell gifts. If someone needs a card or a small toy or a decorative item, they come to shop 14. That’s about it. The shop is small enough that we can see everything from the counter. We just show up, open the shutters, and see who the day brings in from the Janakpuri streets. It is a very basic way to run a shop, but we like it.
