Akash Stationery & Gift Shop

If you walk down Gurudwara Road in Uttam Nagar, you will find Akash Stationery & Gift Shop at B K-1 Extn. 95. We have shelves packed with notebooks, different kinds of pens, and all the usual things students need for their schoolwork. It is a crowded little shop, but we know exactly where every single item is kept. Besides the pens and paper, we keep a variety of gifts, mostly for kids' birthdays or small family functions that happen in the area. We have been in this location for quite some time now, and we see the same kids grow up and eventually come back for their college supplies. It gets really packed in the shop during the mornings when school is about to start. We do not have a fancy display or a complicated computer system for our billing; we just write everything down in the register by hand. Sometimes new stock arrives and boxes are piled up right near the door, making it a bit hard to get inside, but we try to clear it out as fast as we can. We do our best to keep the basic supplies in stock so nobody has to leave empty-handed. It is just a typical local shop where you can pick up a simple greeting card or a pack of pencils on your way home from work.
