You can find us over at 107 Shiv Lok House in the Karam Pura area. Meghdoot Appliances has been operating out of this building for quite a long time now. The office is in a structure that has definitely seen better days, but it’s a comfortable enough home for our business. We deal with all kinds of household appliances, mostly managing the supply chain and making sure the local retailers get what they need for their shops. We have a lot of old catalogs, technical manuals, and spare parts scattered around the office. It isn’t the tidiest place in the world, but we know exactly where the important files are kept. We aren’t like one of those modern tech companies with fancy furniture and expensive coffee machines. We just have a simple water cooler and some sturdy old desks. Most of our day is spent on the phone calling suppliers or checking on what we have left in the warehouse. Karam Pura is a very busy neighborhood, and there is usually a lot of noise from the traffic coming through the windows. We’ve all grown used to it over the years. Our staff consists of a few local people who have been in the appliance trade for a long time. We don’t use complicated systems to track our work. We just use a paper ledger and some basic software. It’s a practical way to keep things moving.
