If you know the B-1 block in New Moti Nagar, then you know where we are. Giftymart.Com is basically run out of this spot at 83. It’s a residential-feeling area but we keep ourselves busy with all the gift items we have piled up. I started this because I wanted to do something local. Every day we are looking at boxes and checking what’s arrived. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes because there’s a lot to keep track of. Moti Nagar is a good place to be based, everything is fairly close by. My desk is usually covered in papers and tape. We spend a lot of time packing things up. It’s not like those big warehouses you see on TV. It’s just a room where we make sure things go to the right people. Some of the neighbors stop by to chat while I’m moving boxes around. I try to keep the inventory organized, but honestly, it’s a constant battle. We handle all sorts of small items that people buy for birthdays or whatever. It’s a bit of a jigsaw puzzle fitting everything in. The morning starts with a cup of tea and looking at the list of what needs to go out. We don’t have a massive staff, so I end up doing a bit of everything myself. It keeps me busy from morning until late in the evening. I like the routine of it and the feeling of finishing all the packages for the day.
