Shri Krishna

Our little shop, Shri Krishna, is tucked away in Shop No-3 of the Gidha Complex. If you are looking for us in Hari Nagar, the best way to find us is to go right behind the Cooperative Bank. It’s a quiet little spot compared to the main road, which we actually prefer. The complex isn't very large, so we know all our neighbors pretty well. We spend most of our time behind the counter or organizing the stock on the shelves. It’s a small space, so things can get cluttered if we aren't careful. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. Most of the people who come by are locals who live nearby or work at the bank. We don't have any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are. On hot afternoons, we usually keep the fan running on high and wait for the evening rush when it gets a bit cooler. Sometimes the delivery guys have trouble finding the entrance because it’s tucked behind the bank, so we have to go out and wave them down. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time now. We just focus on keeping the shop running and making sure we have what people are looking for when they walk in. It’s just a normal neighborhood business.
