Om Sweet Pvt Lmt is over in Uttam Nagar, right in the middle of all the noise and people. If you’re looking for us, we are at Shakuntala Niwash, House No-B-2 and 3 in the T-Block area. It’s near Shukar Bazar, so you can imagine how crowded it gets on market days. The shop is basically part of the house, which gives it a very local, neighborhood feel. Satija Sharma runs things along with the rest of the crew here. We spend most of our mornings getting the sweets ready and making sure everything looks fresh. It’s a bit cramped sometimes because we have a lot of stuff packed into the space, but it works for us. Living and working in the same area means we see our neighbors every single day. Uttam Nagar has its own rhythm, very fast and kind of loud, and we are right in the thick of it. We aren't a big factory; it's more about the hands-on work we do in the kitchen area. The smell of sugar and frying snacks is pretty much always in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. Sometimes deliveries are a pain because the lanes are narrow and the rickshaws get stuck, but we manage to get things out. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep the traditions going without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been here a long time and the address hasn't changed, even as the neighborhood has grown.
