Shrawan Pan & Churan Palace

Shrawan Pan & Churan Palace is my shop in West Punjabi Bagh at 15A. It is a small place that I have looked after for many years. I sell pan and different kinds of churan that I keep in glass jars on my shelves. The shop is not very large so I have to be careful about where I put everything. Punjabi Bagh is a busy neighborhood but my corner at 15A is usually a bit more relaxed. I sit on a small chair near the entrance and wait for people to stop by. I don't have any employees helping me so I do all the work from opening the shop to locking up at night. I have a small radio that I listen to during the slow hours of the afternoon. Sometimes it gets very hot in the summer and I have to use a hand fan to keep cool because the ceiling fan is quite slow. I know many of the people who walk past because they have been living here as long as I have. We talk about the local things happening in the area while I prepare their pan. I don't have any big neon signs or advertisements. People just know I am here. It is a simple business and it doesn't require much more than a bit of patience and a friendly word now and then. I am happy to keep it running just the way it is.
