Shivnath Rai Harnarain (India) Ltd. is located over at B-16 in Bhagwan Dass Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area that has some businesses mixed in. The building itself is a solid structure, and we’ve been here for a good number of years. There isn't a lot of flash to what we do. We mostly stay inside and handle the daily grind of running a limited company. The street outside B-16 is usually quiet, except when there’s a delivery truck trying to navigate the narrow turn. Inside, the rooms are filled with old filing cabinets and stacks of paper that we haven't quite moved to the computer yet. It’s a bit of a traditional environment. We don’t have a big HR department or a cafeteria. We just bring our lunch from home and eat at our desks. The windows look out onto the neighborhood, and you can see people going about their grocery shopping or kids coming home from school. It’s a comfortable place to work because it doesn't feel like a cold corporate tower. We know the people at the local shops and they know us. Most of our business is done through long-standing connections we've built up. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure our business stays steady and our records are kept straight. It’s just a normal office where we do our best day after day.
