Ravinder Equipment Corporation

We started Ravinder Equipment Corporation over here in Vishnu Garden at NW-92. It’s a familiar spot for anyone who lives around this part of town. We spend our time managing different kinds of equipment for various projects. The workshop is always full of something, whether it’s parts waiting to be used or machines that need a look-over. It’s a local operation, so we don't have any of those big corporate rules. We just work together to get the orders filled. Sometimes we run out of space and have to shuffle things around in the yard just to find what we’re looking for. It’s not the most organized system in the world, but we know where everything is. The guys who work here have been around for a long time, so they don’t need much direction. We just get on with the day’s work. Vishnu Garden is a busy place, and we fit right in with the rest of the small businesses around here. We deal with all sorts of people, from local builders to folks just looking for a specific part. It’s noisy and dusty most days, but it feels right. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly we’re out on the floor dealing with the actual equipment. It's a straightforward life and we like it that way. We just keep doing our thing and helping out whoever walks through the gate. It is just a normal everyday business.
