Ramakrishna Bikanerwala

Our place is called Ramakrishna Bikanerwala and we are over at Janakpuri. The specific spot is B-80 on 40 Feet Road. That road gets quite a bit of traffic during the rush hours. We have a front area where people stand and eat. It’s not a place where you’d come for a long quiet dinner. It’s more of a stop-and-go kind of shop. The shelves are full of packets. We spend a lot of time checking the labels and making sure everything is straight. It’s a bit of a habit. Janakpuri is a nice area, but 40 Feet Road can be a mess when it rains. We have to put out mats so people don’t track mud all over the place. We don't have a fancy logo or a brand strategy. We just have the name on a board outside. The workers here wear basic aprons. We talk to each other in short sentences because it’s usually too loud to have a long conversation. Sometimes we run out of change and have to ask the shop next door for some coins. It’s just how a small business works. We focus on the daily tasks. Cleaning the fryers, sweeping the front, and making sure the jars are full. B-80 is just a regular building, nothing special to look at from the outside. But we are here every day. We don't overthink it, we just keep the counter moving and the snacks ready.
