Raj Paan Place

If you walk down to I P Extension 131, you will find us there. Raj Paan Place is just a small corner really, but it stays busy throughout the day and late into the night. I start the day by cleaning the glass and getting the leaves ready. Everything has its own container, even if the labels are peeling off a bit now. People stop by after their dinner or while they are out for a walk in the evening. It’s nice to see the same faces every day. We talk about the weather or how the traffic is getting worse around here. Sometimes I forget to order enough of something and have to scramble, but usually, we have what people want. The counter is a bit worn down from years of use. It’s not the quietest spot because of the cars going by, but we like it. I usually have the radio on low in the background. My clothes often have a bit of lime or red stain on them by the end of my shift. That’s just part of the job. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit tight when three or four people are standing there waiting. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the shop and the stuff we sell. It feels like home after being here so long. Most people know exactly where 131 is without even looking.
