Punjabi Halwai

Our shop is Punjabi Halwai and we are located at A-908 on Pankha Road in Uttam Nagar. It’s a lively area, maybe a bit too noisy sometimes with all the buses and cars on Pankha Road. We specialize in the kind of food you'd expect from a Punjabi kitchen. It’s heavy, filling stuff. We’ve been at this A-908 spot for a long time. The shop is pretty old-fashioned. We have the big frying pans near the front so people can see what’s being made. It draws people in. We don't have any fancy marketing. Just the smell of the food and our name on the board. Most of us working here are family or have been with us for years. We know how things should taste. Sometimes we argue about the recipes, but it usually turns out alright in the end. The floor is made of stone and the walls have some marks on them from years of hard work. It’s a real place, not some polished chain restaurant. We get a lot of commuters stopping by on their way home. It’s a tough business with long hours, but it’s what we do. We start early in the morning and don't stop until late at night. Uttam Nagar is our home and we're happy to be serving the people here. We just keep it simple and honest. No matter what happens, we’ll be here flipping parathas and frying snacks.
