Piccadilly Punjab

Our place, Piccadilly Punjab, is located at A 12 in Rajouri Garden. If you know this area, you know people here really enjoy their food. We aren't a fancy restaurant with white tablecloths and menus. We are more of a practical spot where you can get some good, heavy food and traditional sweets. The kitchen is always on the go. You can hear the clanging of the metal pans and the sound of the big exhaust fan all day long. We focus on the things we know how to make well, like the richer Punjabi sweets and some savory items for lunch. We don't have a marketing department writing things for us. This is just us, the people who work here, doing our jobs at A 12. The shop gets very busy in the evenings when families come out for a walk in Rajouri. We have to move fast to keep everyone happy. Sometimes we get the orders mixed up when it’s too crowded, but we fix it quickly. We've seen Rajouri Garden grow and get much more crowded over the years, but our shop has stayed pretty much the same. We use the same suppliers for our ghee and sugar that we have used for years. We aren't looking to be the most famous place in Delhi, just a reliable one where you can get a box of sweets without any trouble. Our door is always open for anyone, and there is usually a fresh batch of snacks ready on the counter.
