Patna Eatery and Beverages is based out of a house in East Patel Nagar. It’s House Number 8 on Road Number 1, a place called Kunti Kunj. It doesn’t look like a big company from the outside, just a regular building in a residential street. We like it that way because it’s a bit more relaxed than being in a mall or a big office block. Inside, we’ve converted some of the rooms to handle the beverage side of things and the eatery planning. It’s a lot of kitchen talk and checking supplies. We spend a lot of time in the back where it’s cooler. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise when the delivery trucks come by. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big shipment in, but we make it work. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to tell us how to look professional. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Most of our days are spent making sure the recipes are right and the bottles are clean. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we have a few fans going. It’s a simple operation run by people who actually care about the food we’re putting out. Nothing more, nothing less.
