Mc Donald

We are situated over in Tilak Nagar at 16/52-A. This part of New Delhi is always crowded, and our Mc Donald spot is right in the middle of it all. Most days start early because there is always something to clean or prep. We deal with a lot of people coming through, mostly locals who live nearby or folks just passing through the market. The floors get dirty fast when it rains, so we are always grabbing the mop. It is a bit loud with the kitchen machines and the people talking, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have any fancy speeches about what we do. We just make sure the food is ready and the tables are mostly wiped down. The staff here is a mix of young kids and some older folks who have been around the block. Sometimes the supply truck comes late and we have to scramble, but that’s just how things go. We keep the napkins stocked and the bins empty as much as we can. It’s a busy life here in Tilak Nagar. You see all sorts of people walking by the windows. We don’t spend much time sitting down during a shift. There is always a burger to wrap or a drink to pour. It’s just a normal job in a busy neighborhood where we try to keep things moving as fast as possible for everyone.
