Kulhad Foods Private Limited

Kulhad Foods. We are up on the third floor of Flat No 173 in Paschim Vihar. Pocket 1 is where we are. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit different for a food business like ours. Carrying everything up and down the stairs to the third floor is quite a workout for everyone. West Delhi is always crowded, so getting supplies in and out of 110063 can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We use kulhads for our stuff, hence the name Kulhad Foods Private Limited. It’s a small team here. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area or packing things up for delivery. It’s not a big factory or a shopfront, just this flat. We have to be very careful with the space because it’s not huge. Sometimes we run out of room for all the clay pots we keep here. Paschim Vihar is a nice enough place to work, plenty of tea stalls nearby when we need a quick break from the heat. We started this because we wanted to do something with traditional food containers. It’s a bit of a squeeze on the third floor, but we make it work somehow. Most days are just about managing the orders and making sure the kulhads are handled carefully so they don't break on the way out. It is honest work and we just keep our heads down. We focus on the daily tasks here to keep the business moving forward.
