Running Keshav International out of Arunodaya Appt. in Vikas Puri has its pros and cons. Being at number 198 means we are right in the middle of a residential area, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The space is a bit tight sometimes with all the files and samples lying around, but we make it work. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the traffic in Vikas Puri gets really crazy. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the day. It’s mostly coordinating with suppliers and checking on shipments. It’s not the kind of place with a big sign outside or a receptionist at a front desk. You just walk in and see everyone busy on their computers or talking on their mobiles. Sometimes the neighbors pop by just to say hello or ask about something. We keep things pretty simple here. No one wears a suit unless there is a very specific reason for it. Usually, it's just jeans and shirts. We’ve found that being in a quiet apartment block helps us focus better than being in a loud commercial hub. We have our routines, like the mid-morning snack break. It is a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do our jobs right and keep things moving.
