Our place is in Janakpuri, specifically at number 3. It’s a well-known spot in the area. We’ve been serving sweets and snacks to the local community for quite a few years now. The shop is usually bustling, especially around tea time. We have a lot of different items behind the glass counters. Some people come for a quick samosa, others want a whole box of sweets to take to a relative’s house. We don't spend money on big decorations or anything. The focus is really on the kitchen and the counter. The staff stays busy packing boxes and cleaning up. It’s a fast-paced environment. During the festival seasons, it gets a bit chaotic here, but we manage. We’ve got a rhythm to how we do things. The recipes we use haven't changed much over time. We like to keep things consistent. It’s a family-run kind of feel even if we’ve grown over the years. You can see the guys in the back working the dough and heating the oil. It’s not a quiet job. We open early to get everything fresh for the morning. By the time we close, we’re usually pretty tired. But it’s good to see the same faces coming back week after week. It makes the work feel like it belongs to the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time making sure the display looks decent, though by the end of the day, it's usually half-empty. That’s a good sign for us.
