Jai Shri Shyam Sweets

Jai Shri Shyam Sweets is located at 73-A in Nangloi. If you know Nangloi, you know it’s always moving and always loud. We fit right in. Our shop is where we spend almost all our time. We start while it’s still dark outside, getting the first batches of sweets ready for the morning. There’s something about the smell of sugar and milk early in the day that never gets old. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be organized with how we stack everything. We’ve got the glass cases right at the front so people can see what we’ve got as they walk by on the street. It’s a lot of work keeping the place clean with all the dust from the road, but we do our best. People stop in on their way to work or when they’re heading home to see their families. We hear all kinds of stories from the folks who live around here. It’s a tough business sometimes, especially when costs go up, but we keep at it. We’re just a local Nangloi shop. No big secrets or special tricks. We just show up every day at 73-A and get to work. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it a long time.
