Bigg Meals From Amritsar

We have our little shop at Number N 1 in Kirti Nagar. We are right across the road from the Syndicate Bank. Even though we are here in Delhi, we try to bring the kind of food you would find in Amritsar. The kitchen gets really hot because the stoves are always going. We use a lot of flour and big pots for the lentils. Most of the day is spent kneading dough or stirring things so they don't burn. It’s a noisy place with the sound of the fans and the people talking. We get a lot of workers from the nearby shops coming in for lunch. Sometimes we run out of something and have to tell people to wait or pick something else. It’s not a fancy dining room. We have some basic tables and chairs where people can sit and eat quickly. The floor needs sweeping every hour because of all the foot traffic. We’ve been at this address, 110015, for a bit now. It’s hard work and your hands are always covered in something, but we just keep at it. Kirti Nagar is a busy area so there is always something happening outside the door. We just stay focused on the orders and making sure the food is ready when people want it. It’s just a regular food joint for the local crowd who needs a meal.
