The shop is at D-14 in the D.S.I.C. complex over in Kirti Nagar. It's a busy spot with trucks always coming in and out of the warehouse area. We've been here for a long time now. The inside of the shop isn't much to look at. There is paper stacked up on every shelf and the floor is usually covered in little scraps from the trimmer. We have a few old offset machines that make a lot of noise when they are running. It's not a place for a quiet conversation. My brother and I run the place with a couple of helpers from the neighborhood. We don't have a fancy front office with a sofa. Most people just walk right into the work area and talk to us over the sound of the presses. Sometimes the ink takes longer to dry when it’s humid, so we have to tell people to come back the next day. We don't do any big marketing or have a website that looks professional. Folks just find us by walking through the complex or hearing about us from someone else. We get our hands dirty every day and usually go home with ink stains on our shirts. It’s just how it is. We drink tea from the stall nearby while we wait for the plates to be ready. It’s a simple business and we like being in this part of town. We just do the printing and hope the machines don't break.
