Ahujas Sweet Corner

Ahujas Sweet Corner is located in the Shivaji Market area of Tagore Garden. We are a small, family-run business and have been here for a long time. The shop is positioned right where it can get a lot of foot traffic from the main market area. It is a bit of an old building, so we are always dealing with some minor repairs or a flickering light bulb. That is just how it goes when you have been in the same spot for decades. The street outside is usually full of vegetable sellers and people carrying bags of groceries. We open up the shop early in the morning to start our preparations. You can usually hear the sounds of the market starting up while we are setting out our trays. We don't have any fancy seating areas, just a few simple benches if someone needs to wait for a minute. The walls are covered in some old tiles that have been there since we opened. We don't have a big mission or any corporate goals. We just show up every day and do the work that needs to be done. Most of our customers are regulars who live right here in Tagore Garden. They know us and we know them, which makes the day go by a bit faster. It is a simple, honest way to make a living. We don't try to be anything special, just a local sweet corner for the neighborhood people to visit.
