Our small office is located at Post Dongarkinhi, which is a small village in the Malegaon Taluka of Washim district. Shrimati Shantabai Farmer Producer Company Limited is named after a local lady we all respected, and we try to keep that spirit in how we work. Out here in the Washim-444106 area, farming is really the only thing everyone does. It’s a quiet place, far from the big cities of Maharashtra. We mostly focus on helping the local families get their produce to the market. There isn't any fancy equipment in our office, just the basics to get the records done. We spend most of our time out in the fields or sitting under a tree talking to the people who grow the crops. The roads to Dongarkinhi can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we manage. We aren't doing this for fame or to be some high-level executives. We are just local people who know the soil. Sometimes the harvest is great, and other times it is a bit lean. That is just the way it goes here. We don't have a website with a lot of pictures. We just have our names and this address. If you come by, you'll probably find us sorting out seeds or looking at the accounts. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just do our best for the community.
