Nandibaba Farmer Producer Companylimited

Our group, Nandibaba Farmer Producer Companylimited, operates out of Sudhakar Motiram Chavan’s place in Fulumari. We are in the Manora tehsil of Washim district. It’s a rural area and most of us have been farming here since we were kids. We set up this company to try and get organized. Dealing with the markets in Washim can be tricky, so we figured we would have better luck if we spoke with one voice. It's not a formal setup with suits and ties. Usually, we are just sitting in the yard under a tree talking about the crop yields. We handle the distribution of what we grow right from here. Sometimes it's a bit chaotic when the trucks arrive and everyone is trying to load up at once. We don't have a big budget, so we do most of the labor ourselves. It's about making sure the families in Fulumari can keep farming for years to come. We don't promise anything grand, we just do the work. The weather is unpredictable and the prices change every day, but we stay at it. It’s a tough life but it’s the one we know. We are just local farmers trying to do right by our neighbors and our land. No more, no less.
