Varhad Bhumi Agro Producer Companylimited is based in the village of At Kurhadpo Ladegaon Tq. Karanja. We chose the name Varhad Bhumi because this land is where we were born and where we do our work. Our office is a simple place in the village where we gather to talk about the farming business. Around here, everyone knows each other, so the company meetings feel more like a big family gathering sometimes. We focus on the crops that grow well in this part of Karanja. We have to deal with the heat and the rain just like every other farmer here. The company helps us buy things like fertilizer together so it costs us a bit less for everyone. We aren't trying to be some big city corporation. We are just farmers who realized that we are stronger if we work as one group instead of fighting alone. We spend a lot of time looking at the fields and making sure our members are doing okay. It’s a lot of work to keep the registrations and the taxes right, but we do it so we can stay legal and keep growing. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down when we need it most, but we just help each other out. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't use big words or make promises we can't keep. We just try to get the harvest in and sold for a decent price.
