Nathanjali Farmer Producer Company Limited

We started Nathanjali Farmer Producer Company Limited here in Mangrulpir. It is located at Bhashkar Vasantrao Patil's place in Shengi. Most of us here are just local farmers trying to figure things out together. The office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we meet up and talk about the crops. Mangrulpir gets pretty hot in the summer, but we stay busy. We have been working out of this spot for a bit now. People know where to find us if they need to talk. Dealing with seeds and the daily grind of farming takes up most of our time. It’s a group effort. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, but that's just how it goes around here in the Taluqa. We don't have a big fancy building or anything like that. Just some desks and chairs at Bhashkar's house. It gets the job done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the fields near Shengi. There is always something that needs fixing or a problem to solve with the harvest. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving forward for the members. It isn't always easy, but it's what we do. We are mostly focused on the local area and the families we know. If you are passing through the village, you might see us sitting around discussing the market prices or the rain. That’s just life at our company. We just do the work.
