Devdut Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at House Number 82B in Degaon. This is under the Linga post office in Risod. We operate out of the home of Shri Vishnupant Kaduji Bhutekar. We are just local folks from Degaon. The company was started to help us farmers work together. It’s not a professional office with secretaries or anything. It’s just a room with some files and a table. We meet there when we have to discuss the harvest or the seeds for the next season. Risod is a farming region and we are right in the middle of it. We don’t use any marketing tricks. We just tell it like it is. Some years are good and some are bad. We try to look out for each other. Being in Degaon, we know all our neighbors. The house at 82B is where we keep our records. It’s a bit cramped when everyone shows up for a meeting, but we make do. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the crops. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just want to sell our produce and keep our families going. Sometimes the roads out here are rough, but we get the trucks through. We are just practical people doing what we know how to do. We've lived in Risod all our lives. We don't need anything more than a fair price for our work. Every morning starts early and ends late.
