Shetmauli Jaivik Sheti Mission Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Sachin Samadhan Dhone’s place, right at House No. 239 on Washim Road. We are a small group of farmers who are trying to do things a bit differently. Most of us grew up watching how the land changed, and we decided to focus more on the natural side of farming. It is a lot of extra effort to avoid the heavy chemicals, but we think it is worth it for the soil. The office isn't anything fancy. It’s just where we keep our records and meet up to talk about what needs doing. Being on Washim Road makes it easy for people to find us when they need to. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. It is just us, the local guys who know these fields. Sometimes we run into trouble with the crops or the market prices, but we face those things together. It feels better than being on your own. We spend our days out in the sun, making sure things are growing right. It’s a messy job and our hands are always dirty. We aren't looking to become famous or anything like that. We just want to keep the land healthy so the next generation has something left to farm. It’s honest, difficult work, and we just take it one day at a time.
