Sheshta Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of the Washim district, specifically at 110 Kinhi. The office is actually at Pramod Subhashrao Rokade’s house. We are a small group of farmers who decided to team up. Being in a small place like Kinhi, we’ve known each other forever. We didn’t start this to become a huge corporation or anything like that. We just wanted to have more say in how our crops are sold and how we get our supplies. Farming in this part of Maharashtra can be really tough when the monsoon is late. We spend a lot of time talking about the weather and the soil. Our company is basically just a way for us to stick together. We don’t have any big offices with fancy chairs. Most of our meetings happen sitting around a table at Pramod’s place, drinking tea and trying to figure things out. We don’t use any of those complicated business terms because they don’t really mean much to us. We just care about the work and our families. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. Sometimes things go wrong, and we have to fix them ourselves, but that’s just part of being a farmer. If you’re ever in Kinhi, just look for the Rokade family home and you’ll find us. We’re just regular folks doing what we’ve always done, just a bit more organized now.
