We are located in Mangrulpir, at H. No. 74 in the Radha Krushna Nagari area, near the Mahakali Mandir. Shankara Janta Raja Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name on our papers, but to most people around here, we are just the local group from the neighborhood. We started this because we felt that working together would be better than working alone in the fields. The area near the temple is always busy, and our office is right in the middle of it. It’s just a regular house where we keep our records and meet up after the day's work is done. We don't have any professional staff or big budgets. We just have a bunch of farmers who know the local land. We talk about things like water, soil, and where we can sell our harvest. It’s not always easy, and we have plenty of arguments about how things should be done, but we always figure it out. Being in Mangrulpir gives us a good base to work from. We don't use fancy words to describe ourselves. We just do what needs to be done every day to keep the farms running and the company afloat.
