Sangiraj Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over at Rajeshwar Bhaurao Pawade’s place in Shivaji Nagar. We are a local group of farmers who decided to team up. It makes things a lot simpler when you have to buy seeds or fertilizers in bulk. Shivaji Nagar is where we usually gather to talk about the season ahead. We aren't some big company with a hundred employees. It is just us and our families working the land day in and day out. We have seen a lot of changes in farming over the years. Some years the crops are good, and some years they aren't. That is just how it goes in this line of work. We started this because we realized that working alone wasn't getting us very far anymore. Now we share what we know. If someone finds a better way to grow something, they tell the rest of us. It is an honest way to work and live. We don't spend money on fancy offices or advertising stuff. Most people know us because they live right down the road or have seen us in the fields. We are practical people. We spend our days out in the dirt and our evenings looking at the books to make sure everything adds up. It is not always easy, and there is a lot of paperwork with the government, but we manage. We are just trying to keep the farms going.
