Koyalikrushi Farmer Producer Company

In the Risod area of Washim district, you’ll find us over at House No. 1 in Koyali. We go by the name Koyalikrushi Farmer Producer Company. It sounds official, but we are just the same people who have been farming these lands for generations. We use that house as a central spot for when we need to meet up and talk about our crops. Most days, we’re out in the fields, not sitting behind a desk. We started this because we felt like we could do better if we worked as one group instead of a dozen separate people. We don't have a big corporate strategy. Our strategy is just to look at the soil and see what it needs for the next season. We share our tools and our knowledge about the seeds that work best in this part of Washim. It’s not always easy, and there are days when things don't go as planned with the weather or the equipment. We don't have fancy brochures to show people. We just have our produce and our word. If you come by Koyali, you’ll see how we operate. It’s practical and a bit rough around the edges, but it’s honest work. We are just trying to make sure our families are taken care of and that our farming way of life continues. It’s about the work itself, not the title on the door. We don't do much promotional stuff, we just focus on the farming.
