Down here in Mangrulpir, we started Janabai Farmers Producer Company Limited to give us farmers a better chance. Our base is at 5 Hp Kasola. It’s a quiet spot, but there is always something going on with the farms. We are just a bunch of locals who decided that working together was better than trying to fight the market all alone. Mangrulpirkasola is where we live and breathe. The soil here is what we know best. This company isn't about looking important or having a big name. It’s about the actual work of growing things and making sure we can support our families. We spend most of our time in the fields, dealing with whatever the season throws at us. When we have to deal with the business side, we head over to Kasola. It’s not a professional office like you’d see in the big cities. It is just a place for us to talk and plan. We don't have any missions or visions written on the walls. We just have the hope that this year’s harvest will be better than the last. We share our tools and our knowledge because that’s how things get done in a place like this. If you want to know about us, you just have to look at the fields around Mangrulpir. We are the ones out there every day, trying to make a living from the land. It is honest work and that’s all we really care about at the end of a long day.
