Sv Ramana Granites & Marbles

Sv Ramana Granites & Marbles sits right on Naimnagar Road in the Kishanpura part of Hanamkonda. Our address is 4/57, and it’s a spot we’ve been at for a good while. The yard is usually full of granite blocks and marble pieces that we’ve brought in. It gets quite loud sometimes when there is work going on nearby or when the trucks are unloading. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. You get used to the smell of wet stone and the sound of the crane. Hanamkonda is growing, so there are always new buildings going up, and people come by to see what colors we have in stock this week. The granite can be very heavy, so we have to be careful when we move things. We don't really have a fancy office. Most of the business happens right there on the shop floor or near the entrance. We write down orders on whatever paper is handy. It’s an honest way to spend the day, even if it’s tiring. Sometimes a piece of stone has a natural pattern that looks interesting, and we might stop to look at it for a second before moving on to the next task. We just keep things moving and try to make sure we have what people are asking for. It is just steady work every single day.
