Pearl Granite

Pearl Granite is located at Plot No. 164, Site A, in I.D.A. Rampur. Since we are in the same general area as a lot of other stone businesses in Dharmasagar, there is always a lot of movement on the roads. Site A is a bit of a trek from the main road, but we like it that way because it gives us more room to spread out the slabs. The wind blows through the industrial area pretty hard sometimes, carrying a lot of dust with it. We just wear our old clothes and get on with it. There’s no point in trying to stay clean when you’re working around granite all day. We have a routine of checking the inventory every morning before the sun gets too high. It is a lot of walking back and forth across the plot. Sometimes we have tea with the guys from the neighboring plots while we wait for the cranes to be ready. It’s a bit of a community out here in Rampur, even if it is just an industrial site. We don't really have any big mission or anything; we just show up and do what needs to be done with the stones we have on hand. The stone is heavy and the days are long, but we’ve got a good rhythm going now. It’s just us doing our thing at Plot 164 every day of the week.
