About Laxmi Ganapathi Tiles Industry – Building & Construction Material in Warangal
We operate out of 3-2-146 in Vasavi Colony, which is right in the Kothawada area. It’s a place that smells like wet clay and ceramic most of the time. We have been making and selling tiles here for years, and the routine hasn't changed much. The machines make a lot of noise, so we have to shout a bit to be heard when things are running. We have stacks of finished tiles everywhere, some with patterns and some just plain. The dust settles on everything, including our clothes and the tea cups, so we are constantly dusting things off. Vasavi Colony is a nice enough place, though it gets very crowded during festival times. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. We eat our lunch together in the shade of the back wall when it’s too hot to stay inside. Sometimes a batch of tiles doesn't come out right, and we have to set them aside to sell for cheap or use for repairs. It’s frustrating but that’s how it goes with this kind of work. We don’t have a website or any big advertisements, mostly people just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign when they are driving through Kothawada. We just keep the kiln going and try to make sure we have enough stock for whoever walks through the door next.
