Wyckoff Higher Secondary School

I have been working here at Wyckoff Higher Secondary School for quite some time now. Our school is located right in the middle of Muttathur in Villupuram. It is a big part of the neighborhood, and everyone around here knows where we are. Every morning, the gates open and the students start arriving from all the nearby areas. Since we are a higher secondary school, we have a lot of older kids preparing for their final years of study. The building itself is old and has seen many generations of students come and go. The classrooms are basic with just desks, chairs, and blackboards. We do not have any fancy equipment or big modern facilities. It gets very noisy during the breaks when everyone is out in the yard talking and playing. The teachers are mostly local people who have lived in Villupuram for years. We spend our days going through the lessons and making sure the registers are updated. The office is usually a bit of a mess with stacks of papers and old files everywhere. In the afternoons, the sun hits the building and it gets quite warm inside, so we keep the fans running all day. We do not try to be anything other than a local school for the kids in Muttathur. It is a lot of work to keep things going, but we just take it one day at a time and do what needs doing for the students.
