P. D. Convent School

The school is located at K R Plaza, right on the Trichy Main Road in Villupuram. Being on the main road means there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside, but once you get inside the building, it settles down a bit. We occupy a part of this plaza and it works well for the local families. Most of the kids come from the nearby houses and some travel a bit further. The rooms are basic but they serve the purpose for teaching. Our teachers spend a lot of time preparing their notes and checking the students' notebooks. It is a simple setup. We do not spend a lot of time on fancy decorations. Usually, you will see a few notices taped to the walls and books stacked up on the tables. The hallways can get a bit narrow when everyone is moving at the same time, especially during lunch. We handle the daily schedule as best as we can. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when exams are coming up or when it rains heavily outside. The plaza has a few other businesses too, so there is always people coming and going. We are just a small part of this busy area in Villupuram. We keep things grounded and focus on the basic subjects every day. It is a straightforward place for kids to come and get their schooling done without any fuss. We just keep the classes running as planned.
