Sri Dharani International School

We are Sri Dharani International School, located over in Villupuram. Our place is a bit outside the main congestion of the town center, which gives us a little more space. The 605602 area is where we have set up our campus. It is a fairly large building with a lot of windows to let in the light. We have a mix of local staff and some people who travel in from the surrounding villages. Every morning the school buses roll in and the place wakes up. We have a playground area that gets a lot of use during the physical education periods. Villupuram weather can be tough, especially in April and May, so we try to get the outdoor stuff done early in the day. The classrooms are basic but they have what the students need for their lessons. We don't go in for anything too flashy. Most of our day is spent making sure the schedule is followed and the kids are where they are supposed to be. Parents often come by the office to talk about fees or how their children are doing in class. We sit down with them and have a chat when we can. It is a straightforward operation here. We just want to provide a place for learning in our town without making things overly complicated for anyone involved. We have some trees for shade, but it still gets hot around noon.
